Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system because it's clouds keep the heat in. Earth comes next then Mars which is known as the 'red' planet. Jupiter is after Mars and it is the biggest planet in the solar system. Saturn is after Jupiter and it is the second biggest planet and it also has rings around it. Then it is Uranus
and Neptune is the furtherest planet from the sun.
